Day of: Wash your scalp thoroughly, arrive with clean, dry scalp
No caffeine: Avoid coffee or energy drinks on the day of your appointment
Eat before: Have a good meal 1-2 hours before your session

After Your Session

Days 1-5: Critical Healing Phase

Keep scalp completely DRY - no water, sweat, or moisture
No showering on treated area (you can shower below the neck)
Sleep elevated on clean pillowcases (change nightly)

Days 5-10: Gentle Care

After day 5, you can gently rinse scalp with lukewarm water
Use only mild, fragrance-free soap (we'll recommend specific brands)
Pat dry gently - no rubbing or scratching

Days 10-30: Protection Phase

Avoid direct sun exposure for 30 days (wear a hat)
No intense exercise or sweating for 10 days
No swimming, saunas, or hot tubs for 30 days

Long-term Care (30+ days)

Use SPF on scalp when exposed to sun (hat recommended)
Avoid harsh chemical treatments or excessive heat styling

Days 7-14: Gentle Transition

Continue gentle care - color may appear lighter (this is normal)
No direct sun exposure - SPF lip balm required
Can resume lip products after day 10

Long-term Care (30+ days)

Avoid teeth whitening products - can fade pigment prematurely
Avoid chemical peels, retinol, AHA/BHA acids on lip area
Always use SPF lip balm when outdoors
