16 years and still going strong

Sixteen years ago, my mother was facing something no family ever wants to hear. Stage IV breast cancer that had spread to her liver.

And here we are, 16 years later, and my mom is still going strong.

Over the years, I've witnessed firsthand what it means to face cancer — not just for the person living with it, but for everyone who loves them. I've seen strength, courage, determination, and the importance of holding on to hope.

My mother has been an inspiration to me in more ways than I could ever explain. So when October comes around and we see all the pink ribbons and Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns, it's much more than just another awareness month to me.

It's personal. It's about my mom. It's about family. And it's about the many women whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

That's why Christina and I wanted Gemini Inked to do something meaningful this October. Not just talk about giving back. Actually give something back.

Through our 3D areola restoration and scar camouflage services, we have an opportunity to provide two women with complimentary restoration treatments. I know how personal this journey can be, and I understand the importance of placing your trust in the right hands.

And when it comes to this work, I couldn't have more confidence in Christina.

With her many years of experience in nursing, her compassion for others, and her specialized artistry in permanent pigmentation, Christina brings a combination of understanding, patience, and attention to detail that makes me incredibly proud.
